MEX Talent Search 2012- an initiative of MEX-was organized at Everest Engineering & Management College amidst much hype and buzz from the participating students. The competition began with the introduction to the competition and the rules thereafter by the moderator. One by one, students were asked to shed light on the topic entitled, “Impact of Unstable Government in financial sector” The students cited numerous examples related to the topic and exuberantly expressed their opinions. The esteemed panel of judges evaluating the students on their public speaking ability included the Manager of R&D Dept. at MEX Nepal, Mr. Amit Pyakurel, a lecturer of the college itself, Mr. Chirajivi Bhattarai and representing Simrik Investment Private Limited, a broker affiliated with MEX, Mr. Anup Aryal. The judges evaluated the students on various aspects including the content furnished, delivery and persuasion amongst others. At the conclusion of the event, Mr. Ashish Tiwari emerged victorious. The winner received certificate from the Program Coordinator of the college itself, Mr. Dipak Bhandari.
