MEX Talent Search 2012- an initiative of MEX-was organized at Prime College amidst much hype and buzz from the participating students. The competition began with the introduction to the competition and the rules thereafter by the moderator. One by one, students were asked to shed light on the topic entitled, “Productive & Unproductive Investment in Nepal” The students cited numerous examples related to the topic and exuberantly expressed their opinions. The esteemed panel of judges evaluating the students on their public speaking ability included the Manager of Business Development Dept. at MEX Nepal, Miss. Devlaxmi Singh, the lecturer of the college itself, Mr. Sanjeeb Karmacharya and representing Premier Clearing Services, a member affiliated with MEX, Ms. Roshani Shrestha. The judges evaluated the students on various aspects including the content furnished, delivery and persuasion amongst others. At the conclusion of the event, Miss. Rajani Gurung emerged victorious edging out Miss. Veennee Shakya to the runners-up position. The winners received certificates from the BBS Coordinator of the college itself, Mr. Bijay Manadhar.
