MEX Nepal organized the much anticipated MEX Talent Search 2012 at the premises of National College, Baluwatar. The competition began with the introduction to the competition and the rules thereafter. One by one, students were asked to shed light on the topic entitled, “Productive and Unproductive Investments of Nepal” The students furnished various examples citing the sorry state of the economic nature of the country and consequently dissected numerous solutions relating to the topic. The esteemed panel of judges evaluating the students on their public speaking ability included the Manager of Research & Development Department at MEX Nepal, Mr. Amit Pyakurel, Mr. Krishna Humagain, the Administrative Officer of the college itself and representing Third Eye Investments & Trade Private Limited, a broker affiliated with MEX Nepal, Ms. Yasoda Rai. The judges evaluated the students on various aspects including the content furnished, delivery and persuasion amongst others. After a healthy competition, Miss. Evita Tamrakar, emerged victorious edging out Mr. Sudan Bhandary to the runners-up position. The winner and the runner-up received certificates from Mr. Madhav Prasad Neupane, the principal of the college.
