All trade participants of the Exchange like clients, Clearing Members and Non Clearing Members are required to follow KYC norms and adhere to anti money laundering laws. We educated our clients and participant clearing and Non Clearing Members to trade or to facilitate trade only through negotiable instruments submit their details based on global practice of KYC and obliged to follow the anti money laundering procedure in each and every steps of dealing with MEX

At MEX all the clients and the member's funds are held separately in Segregated Accounts in the name of Non-Clearing Members and Clients with the designated public banks.

Neither the Members nor the Exchange are permitted to mix the client funds with their operating accounts. Segregated accounts are the subject to trading activities only. These accounts are not for operational purposes. During MTM settlement, all sub-ledgers are subject to debiting / crediting on result of customer's transactions. In short, account status of segregated account is the replica of the TWS (Trader Work Station). Further, the Fund segregation is the key factor which segregates the trading fund of client to client level, member to client level and member to member level. Maximum transparency is implemented in the system by MEX, which can also be observed by all participants through their online banking consoles.
