MEX Nepal Charity to Maiti Nepal!

Each year, Nepal celebrates Teej- an occasion whereby Nepalese women unite in an attempt to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva for the well-being of their respective spouses and children. It is a day when women forget their plight and celebrate the festival with a smile on their face and a song in their hearts. Keeping the festivities alive, Maiti Nepal initiated a programme on 6th September 2013 with the survivors of human trafficking and children at their rehabilitation home at Maiti Nepal. It was a conscious effort on behalf of Maiti Nepal in alleviating the pain and suffering of the people who had undergone immense strife and pain in their preceding days of suffering.

On this occasion, Maiti Nepal organized the programme with a noble cause in mind by making a concentrated effort of supporting 10 blind students for their educational purposes. The CEO of MEX Nepal, Mr. Jitesh Surendran, obliged to the invitation and attended the programme. On behalf of the organization, the CEO made a notable monetary contribution towards the noble cause. MEX Nepal wishes the students the very best in all their future endeavors and wishes them and the organization, in general, a prosperous future in the forthcoming days. MEX Nepal is honored to provide assistance for this noble cause of Maiti Nepal and in a small way contribute towards chiseling these precious diamonds of the society towards becoming brighter individuals in the days to come!
